SORCER Stimulating Obtaining Results in Communities in relation to Energy-efficiency and Renewables Click here for an information video NewEnergyTV made about SORCER! The SORCER project is based on energy-efficient dwellings with a maximum use of sustainable energy in two communities. Hillerød (DK) and Apeldoorn (NL) are working on very ambitious projects. Cooperation shall increase the impact of the demonstration, an advantage for all stakeholders, and shall strengthen Europe to reduce dependence on energy imports, increase sustainability and stimulate growth and jobs. Click here for the project website (members only) CONCERTO SORCER is part of the CONCERTO initiative, launched by the European Commission , is a Europe wide initiative proactively addressing the challenges of creating a more sustainable future for Europe's energy needs. Today, there are a total of 28 communities in 9 projects, each working to deliver the highest possible level of self-supply of energy. CONCERTO is part of the 6th framework research programme supervised by the DG Energy and Transport of the European Commission. For more information see:
